Pillar wows with spectacular diving grab for double play

TORONTO -- Another day, another highlight-reel catch for Blue Jays outfielder Kevin Pillar, who is continuing to make a name for himself across the league with a seemingly endless list of dazzling plays.

Pillar's latest defensive gem occurred during the top of the seventh inning of Tuesday night's 13-6 win over the Orioles. Adam Jones appeared to have a hit with a low line drive that was heading for the gap in left-center field until Pillar sprawled out to make a headfirst diving play. He then fired to second base to double off Chris Davis.

It was the second time in as many games that Pillar took a hit away from Jones. He also stole a hit from Baltimore's slugger with a diving play the last time the two clubs met on April 12.
