Blue Jays recall RHP Chad Jenkins

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have recalled RHP CHAD JENKINS from Buffalo of the International League and have designated RHP SERGIO SANTOS for assignment.

JENKINS, 26, has split the 2014 season between Toronto and Buffalo where in 21 games this season has posted a 1-3 record with two saves and a 4.70 ERA. In 21 relief appearances with Toronto this season the 6-4, 235lb. right-handed pitcher has posted a 1-1 record with a 2.56 ERA.

SANTOS, 31, has appeared in 26 games this season for Toronto posting an 0-3 record with five saves and an 8.57 ERA.
