Blue Jays' single-game tickets go on sale Feb. 18

TORONTO -- The Blue Jays will begin selling single-game tickets for the 2015 regular season on Feb. 18 at 10 a.m. ET.

Single-game seat prices have increased by $2, which according to the club is the first time it has raised the cost in five seasons. Club and In the Action seats have been excluded from the price hike and will remain the same in '15.

The increase had been expected for the past couple of months after the club previously announced that season tickets would be higher this season. The assumption was that it would lead to higher costs for single games, and the Blue Jays confirmed that in a press release on Tuesday morning.

The Blue Jays will open their home schedule on April 13 against the Rays. That marks the start of a 10-game homestand, with four games against Tampa Bay, three vs. Atlanta and an additional three against Baltimore.

Toronto also announced on Tuesday that a game on Aug. 16 vs. the Yankees will be used to "Turn Back the Dial" and honor the 1985 American League East championship team. The first 20,000 fans will receive a George Bell/Lloyd Mosey/Jesse Barfield bobblehead to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the club's breakout season.

Other players to be honored with a bobblehead this year are: Jose Bautista (April 19), Marcus Stroman (June 7) and Russell Martin (Aug. 3). Tickets can be purchased online at bluejays.com, over the phone at 1-888-OK-GO-JAY or in person at the Blue Jays' box office, Rogers retail locations or the Jays Shop located in the Eaton Centre.
