Blue Jays trade Aquino

The TORONTO BLUE JAYS have traded LHP JAYSON AQUINO to the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for cash considerations.

AQUINO, 22, started five games this season for the Dunedin Blue Jays of the Florida State League (A) posting a 2-2 record with a 2.81 ERA. The left-handed pitcher who was designated for assignment on May 5, was traded to the Blue Jays on February 4, 2015 from Colorado in exchange for LHP Tyler Ybarra.
