Uecker to be honored on 'Major League' Night

MILWAUKEE -- The Brewers will celebrate Bob Uecker's 60th year in professional baseball on "Major League" Night on July 21 at Miller Park against the Indians. The Hall of Fame broadcaster will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, and a $10,000 donation in his name will be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Fans who purchased the special "Major League" Night ticket package will receive a limited-edition talking Harry Doyle bobblehead -- the character Uecker played in the "Major League" movies. The bobblehead includes popular quotes from the movies such as: "This guy threw at his own kid in a father-son game," "Personally, I think we got hosed on that call," and "Juuust a bit outside."

The 4,000 ticket packages that include the bobblehead are sold out, but tickets in most seating categories for the game still remain. Tickets can be purchased at the Miller Park Box Office, through Brewers.com or by calling 414-902-4000.
