The Astros beat the Red Sox, 8-2, in Game 2 of the American League Division Series presented by Doosan. We were on the scene in and around Minute Maid Park.
6:07 p.m. ET: Ken do: Giles retires Bogaerts to secure Astros' win
whiffed for the final out in Houston's victory.

6:05 p.m. ET: Single, dance, repeat: JBJ knocks in another
brought home in the ninth inning with a clutch single.

4:54 p.m. ET: Four score: Astros rally in 6th
Houston put up four runs in the sixth inning off Boston relievers and . brought home the first on a sacrifice fly, doubled in two more and Evan Gattis capped the rally with an RBI single.

4:30 p.m. ET: Kid A-plus: Keuchel earns standing O for effort

3:41 p.m. ET: By George! Springer homers, Altuve singles in 4th
cannot be contained. After singling and scoring in his first at-bat for his fourth hit in five tries this series, the Astros' second baseman went to work again in Houston's two-run third inning, notching an RBI single to knock lefty starter out of the game. The base hit plated Alex Bregman, who reached base on a double after led off the frame with a home run for his first hit in this postseason. Houston took a 4-1 lead into the fourth inning.

Jackie Bradley Jr. brought home Chris Young with a one-out single in the second inning off to cut the Astros' lead in half.

2:29 p.m. ET: Orange, crushed: Correa gives Astros early lead
The Astros picked up right where they left off, jumping on Red Sox lefty Drew Pomeranz for two runs in the first inning, courtesy of Carlos Correa's two-out, two-run homer. Naturally, it was Jose Altuve, the American League Most Valuable Player Award candidate who homered three times in Houston's 8-2 Game 1 victory on Thursday, who kickstarted the early offensive doings, clobbering the first pitch he saw from Pomeranz for a single. That's when Correa stepped to the plate, drawing a 2-2 count and fouling off three straight pitches before sending a fastball into the left-field seats for a 2-0 lead.
