The Atlanta Braves agreed to terms with LHP Ian Krol and RHP Arodys Vizcainoon a one-year contract today to avoid arbitration. With the agreements, the organization came to terms with all of its arbitration-eligible players this offseason.
Krol, 25, went 2-0 with a 3.18 ERA in a career-best 63 games last season, his first with the Braves. The lefty also set career-high totals with 51.0 innings and 56 strikeouts, while tying his best with 10 holds.
Vizcaino, 26, appeared in a career-best 43 games despite making two trips to the disabled list last season. The right-hander missed 61 total games after going to the 15-day disabled list from July 16 to August 18 with a right oblique strain and then again from August 28 through the end of the season with right shoulder inflammation.
He began the year in the closer's role, converting 10 of 12 save opportunities prior to his first disabled list stint for his first double-digit save season.
