The Atlanta Braves have announced a schedule of events, promotions and giveaways to celebrate The Final Countdown at Turner Field, Tuesday, September 27 - Sunday, October 2.
In addition to special pregame and postgame activities scheduled for the final six games (schedule below), all Scouts Alley games and Braves Museum tours will be free for fans on those six days. The Braves will also be offering a 10% merchandise discount in the Braves Outlet Store located at aisle 230 for the final six games, and a $2 fountain drink during the Philadelphia series (September 27-29).
"The Final Countdown is going to be a fantastic celebration of all the things that made Turner Field so special: the history, the experiences, the people," said Braves President of Business Derek Schiller. "We invite Braves Country to join us as we close out this illustrious chapter of our franchise's history."
Two special ticket offers will be available in honor of the Final Countdown. Fans can purchase outfield seats (sections 132-150; 232-246) for any game September 27-30, for $10 a ticket. This offer will be available at www.Braves.com/outfield. The second offer is a Dansby Swanson Emoji T-shirt Package. The $25 package includes a Field Reserved seat for any game during the Philadelphia series, September 27-29, and a Dansby Swanson t-shirt. This package can be purchased at www.Braves.com/dansby.
For the final three games September 30-October 2, Gas South and SunTrust will be providing a commemorative Turner Field poster to all fans through the gates. All fans in attendance for the final game at Turner Field on Sunday, October 2, will receive a final game commemorative ticket in a WellStar lanyard upon entry.
On Sunday, October 2, Braves alumni will take the field in a special ceremony before the game to celebrate the last two decades of players at Turner Field and throw a ceremonial first pitch. Following the game, the Braves will close out Turner Field with a final ceremony that includes a ceremonial final pitch, the transfer of home plate to SunTrust Park, a parade of Braves Country states, and a presentation featuring Braves VIPs.
