In conjunction with the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival that takes place in Braves Country's Manchester, Tenn., the Atlanta Braves will host two Bonnaroo artists for postgame concerts at Turner Field on May 31 and June 1. The postgame concerts will take place in Fan Plaza and admission will be included in a game ticket.
On Tuesday, May 31, Atlanta-based Stokeswood will take the stage after the Braves matchup with the San Francisco Giants. The five-man ensemble covers a variety of genres and since releasing their first album in 2009 they have landed pop tracks on radio stations throughout the Southeast. Stokeswood was also named "Best Local Rock Band" by Creative Loafing in 2013 and 2014.
The Quaildogs are a folk/alternative country band that also hails from Atlanta, and will play following the game on June 1. Their unique and crowd-pleasing sound has landed them opening slots for a diverse set of acts including The Handsome Family, Futurebirds, Moon Taxi, Family and Friends, American Aquarium, Roadkill Ghost Choir and the Dirty Dozen Brass Band.
Additionally, the Braves will be handing out Bonnaroo promotional items in Fan Plaza before both postgame concerts. From May 29-June 2, the Braves are also raffling off Bonnaroo passes and fans can visit Fan Plaza pregame to enter for the chance to win.
