Braves Release Pitcher James Russell

The Atlanta Braves today gave left-handed pitcher James Russell his unconditional release. Atlanta now has 38 active players remaining in its Major League camp.

The Braves begin the 2015 campaign on Monday, April 6, at Miami (4:10 p.m., SportSouth).
