Brewers Community Foundation and Delta Dental to host annual "Team Smile" event at Miller Park today
Full Dental Care to be Provided for Children from Our Next Generation and COA
Brewers Community Foundation will host its annual "Team Smile" event at Miller Park from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. today. In partnership with Delta Dental, approximately 300 children from Our Next Generation and COA Youth and Family Centers will receive full dental care.
Through this program, children receive free oral health education, dental screenings, dental treatment if needed, teeth cleanings and education on how the mouth and body are linked for overall health.
This is the fifth year that Brewers Community Foundation will partner with "Team Smile" to provide dental care to children in the Milwaukee area. The event will take place in the Johnson Controls Stadium Club on the Club Level at Miller Park. In addition, there will be special appearances from the Klement's Famous Racing SausagesTM at 10:45 a.m. and Bernie Brewer at 1:15 p.m.
TeamSmile® is a 501C nonprofit dental organization, whose mission is to create connections between children's service groups, dental professionals, professional sports organizations and their athletes. Together, we can provide underserved children in need, a life changing dental experience in which the excitement and allure of high profile sports reinforces the value of a life-long commitment to dental health care. Each child in our program is provided with free preventative care and education, and if necessary dental treatment.
