Braun expected at Brewers On Deck
Hall of Famers Yount, Fingers also scheduled for annual fan fest

MILWAUKEE -- From Ryan Braun to Robin Yount, nearly all of the usual suspects are scheduled to attend the Brewers' annual fan fest later this month. Brewers On Deck, featuring autograph and photo sessions, interactive games, Q&As with players and executives, merchandise and historical displays, and more, will take place Jan. 29 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. CT at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee. Ticket information is online at Brewers.com/OnDeck. Braun has been the subject of trade rumors, but will be on hand along with other projected Brewers starting position players Eric Thames, Jonathan Villar, Travis Shaw, Orlando Arcia, Keon Broxton and Domingo Santana. Starting pitchers Junior Guerra, Zach Davies, Jimmy Nelson, Chase Anderson and Matt Garza will be there, as will closer candidates Corey Knebel, Jacob Barnes and Carlos Torres.
Thames, who signed as a free agent following three seasons in South Korea, and Shaw, acquired in a December trade with Boston, will meet Brewers fans for the first time. The same is true of catcher Jett Bandy, who came in a trade with the Angels, free-agent acquisition Tommy Milone and prospectsLewis Brinson (No. 1) and Ryan Cordell (No. 18), the outfielders acquired in August from the Rangers. Among the former players scheduled to be in attendance are Hall of Famers Yount and Rollie Fingers.
The Brewers are simplifying the autograph procedure this year. Players and select staff/alumni will each sign up to 250 autographs, ranging from free to $25, with proceeds going to the Brewers Community Foundation. All autographs this year will be first-come, first-served. A schedule of players signing and their session times will be released in the next week. The autograph opportunities are for signatures on photo cards provided by the team; the Brewers cannot guarantee that any player will sign other memorabilia. Cash is the only acceptable form of payment for autographs.
