Bochy: No plan for Giants to alter roster for Series

SAN FRANCISCO -- The plan is for the Giants to carry their 25-man roster from the National League Championship Series into the World Series, manager Bruce Bochy said during a workout at AT&T Park on Saturday afternoon.

That means Tim Lincecum -- whose absence from game action thus far in the postseason has been a popular topic during media sessions -- will remain on the roster.

"I think about Timmy; trust me," Bochy said. "I'm pretty sure at some point, he'll be in the game."

Bochy said the roster has not yet been finalized, but in all likelihood, he'll be going with the same 25 guys.
