SAN FRANCISCO -- University of Washington outfielder Braden Bishop and Stanford shortstop Drew Jackson signed contracts with the Mariners on Tuesday as the club announced it has deals now with 27 of the 40 players selected in last week's Draft.

Bishop, a junior from Eugene, Ore., was Seattle's third-round selection and Jackson was taken in the fifth round. The Mariners had already announced the signings of their top two picks -- second-rounder Nick Neidert from Peachtree Ridge High School in Georgia and Competitive Balance B pick Andrew Moore out of Oregon State. Both Neidert and Moore are right-handed pitchers.

The three Pac-12 Conference players -- Bishop, Jackson and Moore -- will report to Class A Short-Season Everett, which opens its season Thursday. Neidert, an 18-year-old, will start out with the club's Rookie-level Arizona League team.

The Mariners have signed eight of their top 10 picks, with the only exceptions being fourth-rounder Dylan Thompson, a high school pitcher out of South Carolina, and ninth-rounder Conner Hale, a third baseman from LSU.

Kyle Wilcox (No. 6), a right-hander out of Bryant University; Ryan Uhl (No. 7), a first baseman from Indiana University in Pennsylvania; and Darin Gillies (No. 10), a left-hander from Arizona State, all signed deals and will report to Everett. Cody Mobley (No. 8), a right-hander from Mount Vernon (Ind.) High School, will report to Peoria to join the AZL team with Neidert.
