D-backs recall Godley from Triple-A Reno; place McFarland on DL

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Zack Godley from Triple-A Reno and placed LHP T.J. McFarland on the 10-day disabled list with a left ankle contusion.

The Arizona Diamondbacks recalled RHP Zack Godley from Triple-A Reno and placed LHP T.J. McFarland on the 10-day disabled list with a left ankle contusion.
Godley, 27, will make his second start of the season tonight vs. Detroit. He has gone 2-1 with a 2.25 ERA (6 ER in 24.0 IP), .165 average (13-for-79) and 23 strikeouts in 4 games (2 starts) with the Aces this season, including a 0.68 ERA (1 ER in 13.1 IP) as a starter.
Godley was also named Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Week for April 17-23 after tossing 7.0 scoreless innings with 1 hit allowed on April 19 @ Albuquerque.
In parts of 3 Major League seasons with the D-backs, Godley is 10-5 with a 5.26 ERA (68 ER in 116.1 IP) in 37 games (16 starts).
McFarland, 27, was struck in the left ankle by a James McCann line drive last night vs. Tigers. He is 1-0 with a 1.59 ERA (1 ER in 5.2 IP) in 5 games with the D-backs this season.
