About 3,350 runners and walkers participated in the 16th annual CollegeAdvantage Redlegs Run at Great American Ball Park earlier today, raising more than $125,000 for the Reds Community Fund.

3,350 participants raise over $125,000 at the 2017 Redlegs Run
CINCINNATI (May 13, 2017) - About 3,350 runners and walkers participated in the 16th annual CollegeAdvantage Redlegs Run at Great American Ball Park earlier today, raising more than $125,000 for the Reds Community Fund. 
• The overall top 5K male finisher was Wesley Piper of Athens, OH with a time of 16:14
• The overall top 5K female finisher was Heather Clark of Cincinnati, OH with a time of 20:02 (won last year)
• The overall top 10K male finisher was Robert Wiltshire of Bradford, OH with a time of 36:11  
• The overall top 10K female finisher was Lucia Rodbro of Oxford, OH with a time of 42:46
The winners have been invited to throw out ceremonial first pitches prior to the Sunday, May 21 Reds vs. Colorado Rockies game at GABP.

All proceeds from the race directly benefit the Reds Community Fund and its youth baseball and softball outreach initiatives. 
Multiple youth baseball and softball teams supported by the Reds Community Fund served as volunteers on the 5K and 10K courses.
