Citizens Bank Park, home of the Phillies, will host its fifth Spartan Race on Saturday, October 7, 2017. For one day only, athletes will have a chance to run a Spartan Race through one of Major League Baseball's best ballparks. The Spartan Race combines the existing attributes of the ballpark (inside and out) with the brand's constructed obstacles. The test of strength and agility will see competitors climbing steep stairs, racing down concourses and facing tall walls, rope climbs, monkey bars and more. Additionally, race day will feature the Spartan Kids Race, a specialized obstacle course for children between the ages of 4-12, and the Special Spartans Heat, customized for young athletes with developmental disabilities as well as those with intellectual or vocational delays.

Like the adults, all finishers receive a Spartan T-shirt, finisher's medal and a great sense of accomplishment.
The event at Citizens Bank Park is part of the Spartan Stadium Series which brings the brand's signature three-mile "Sprint" races to eight storied ballparks and stadiums across the country.
