Scott, 27, has made four scoreless relief appearances for the PawSox since being optioned on July 17, striking out four and allowing just one hit in 4.2 innings. Scott made his major league debut with the Red Sox last September and was the 2016 recipient of the Lou Gorman Award for demonstrating dedication and perseverance in overcoming obstacles while working his way to the Major League team.
