Cardinals announce time change for September 9 game

The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that the Saturday, September 9 game vs. Pittsburgh has been moved to a 6:15 p.m. CT start time. The time change is necessary to accommodate the FOX national broadcast window.

Originally scheduled at 12:05 p.m. CT as a FOX national broadcast, the Cardinals are required by broadcast agreements to change the game time now that FOX has opted to not carry the game. The Saturday Cardinals-Pirates game will now be part of the Fox Sports Midwest package and telecast locally to all Fox Sports Midwest subscribers.
