Yankees Return to Yankee Stadium for Seven-Game Homestand

The New York Yankees return home to Yankee Stadium tonight for the first of a seven-game homestand. The stretch will feature a four-game series vs. their AL East Division rival Baltimore Orioles (Thursday-Sunday, September 14-17) and a crucial three-game set vs. the Minnesota Twins (Monday-Wednesday, September 18-20), who currently hold the second AL Wild Card spot.

The New York Yankees return home to Yankee Stadium tonight for the first of a seven-game homestand. The stretch will feature a four-game series vs. their AL East Division rival Baltimore Orioles (Thursday-Sunday, September 14-17) and a crucial three-game set vs. the Minnesota Twins (Monday-Wednesday, September 18-20), who currently hold the second AL Wild Card spot.
On Saturday, September 16, the Yankees will recognize the 10-year anniversary of the New York Football Giants' historic victory in Super Bowl XLII over the then undefeated New England Patriots in a special pregame ceremony. Prior to the scheduled 4:05 p.m. Yankees-Orioles game, over 40 members of the 2007 Giants team and their Super Bowl trophy will parade along the warning track from centerfield to home plate. In addition, four of the team's captains - linebacker Antonio Pierce, wide receiver David Tyree, center Shaun O'Hara and punter Jeff Feagles - will throw out ceremonial first pitches.  
Fans are asked to be in their seats by 3:30 p.m. for the festivities. Following the ceremony, any Guest attending the Yankees-Orioles game on that date will also have the opportunity to take pictures with the Super Bowl trophy in the New York Yankees Museum Presented by Bank of America through the end of the sixth inning.
Yankee Stadium will open Gates 6 and 8 at 4:00 p.m. - one hour earlier than usual - for a Yankees Batting Practice Block Party on Monday, September 18 vs. Minnesota. Fans with tickets for the Yankees' 7:05 p.m. game that night will be able to enjoy a number of activities while watching Yankees batting practice from the Masterpass Batter's Eye Deck, Bleachers, and outfield sections of Yankee Stadium between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Highlights include children's activities and music, the opportunity to take photos with the 2009 World Series trophy and in the Judge's Chambers and other special events and opportunities.
Please note that Yankees batting practice is subject to cancellation depending on weather and/or other considerations.
1977 World Champions Fan Ring Day will take place on Sunday, September 17. The first 10,000 Guests in attendance, 14 and younger, will receive a fan ring, courtesy of Betteridge Jewelers.

On Friday, September 15, the Yankees will host 2017 Little League World Series participant Holbrook Little League of Jackson, New Jersey in a Field of Dreams. Prior to the scheduled 7:05 p.m. Yankees-Orioles game that night, members of the team will take the field with the Yankees for the national anthem.  
Ticket specials will run on Thursday, September 14 (Military Personnel Game), Saturday, September 16 (Youth Game), Sunday, September 17 (Youth Game), Monday, September 18 (Military Personnel Game), Tuesday, September 19 (Military Personnel Game) and Wednesday, September 20 (Mastercard $5/Military Personnel/Senior Citizen/Student/Youth Game).
