White Sox Rookie-level team throws no-hitter

The Rookie-level Arizona League White Sox threw a seven-inning combined no-hitter Monday night in a 3-1 victory over the AZL Brewers.

Right-hander Brayan Herrera started and tossed five innings, walking three and striking out three before turning the ball over to the bullpen. Right-handers Zack Burdi (Chicago's No. 17 prospect) and each struck out the side in the sixth and seventh innings, respectively. The Brewers scored an unearned run on a pair of errors in the seventh.
Burdi, the 26th overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft, is currently rehabbing from Tommy John surgery last year. In 29 appearances for Triple-A Charlotte prior to his injury in 2017, he posted a 4.05 ERA.
