Dodgers' No. 10 prospect Alex Castellanos went 3-for-4, drove in two and missed the cycle by a triple to lead the Tiburones to victory. Despite the outfielder's big night, it still took an RBI single by Oscar Salazar in the top of the ninth to break a 3-3 deadlock. Niuman Romero (Tigers) hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the sixth inning, and Gustavo Molina (Yankees) added insurance with a solo shot in the eighth to give the Caribes the 3-1 win.
