Callaspo trying to overcome recent spate of errors

ANAHEIM -- More than anything, Alberto Callaspo is known for his solid defense at the hot corner -- which is why it's so obvious that the switch-hitting third baseman hasn't been right lately.

Callaspo bobbled a slow roller by David DeJesus to lead off the third inning on Tuesday, marking the fourth error he's committed over the last three games -- the previous three of which were errant throws. Over his previous 37 contests, he committed only one error (a dropped fly ball on April 10).

"I feel fine," Callaspo said in Spanish. "That stuff happens. Tomorrow is another day. I just have to keep moving forward."
