Cardinals Announce Andy Cohen Night at the Ballpark

Team Celebrates the Television Host and St. Louis Native with a Bobblehead Giveaway and Ceremonial Pitch

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (March 27, 2013) - The St. Louis Cardinals announced that they will host a special tribute to television personality, author, and St. Louis native, Bravo's Andy Cohen during the first ever Andy Cohen Night at Busch Stadium on Friday May 10th.

Cohen will throw out a ceremonial first pitch prior to the Cardinals taking on the Colorado Rockies at 7:15 p.m. Fans who purchase the special Andy Cohen Night ticket to the game will take home a unique, one-of-a-kind Andy Cohen Cardinals bobblehead.

"There is no greater fan of the Cardinals than Andy Cohen," said Dan Farrell, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "Whether it's on TV or on Twitter, he's constantly cheering us on, and we're happy to do the same for him by hosting this event."

A limited number of VIP packages are also available for the event. In addition to the bobblehead, VIP ticketholders will receive a copy of Cohen's book "Most Talkative" and access to a pre-game meet & greet autograph session with Cohen.

            Cohen, a lifelong Cardinals fan, is the Executive Vice President of Development and Talent for Bravo as well as the host and executive producer of "Watch What Happens Live," Bravo's late night, interactive talk show that features guests from some of Bravo's most popular series, as well as from the world of entertainment, politics, and pop culture. Cohen received an Emmy award when season six of "Top Chef" won Outstanding Reality Competition Program at the 2010 primetime Emmy awards and has been nominated for twelve additional Emmy Awards as Executive Producer of "Project Greenlight," "Project Runway," "Top Chef," and "Queer Eye." With over 1 million followers, Andy is active on social media, often tweeting about his hometown Cardinals team.
