Billy Joel hits Busch Stadium on Sept. 21

February 2nd, 2017

ST. LOUIS -- Legendary musician Billy Joel is bringing his show to St. Louis for a Sept. 21 concert at Busch Stadium, the Cardinals announced on Thursday. It will be Billy Joel's first solo stadium appearance in St. Louis and will follow his stops at other Major League parks, including Dodger Stadium, Wrigley Field and Fenway Park.
Tickets for the concert are priced at $49.50 and up, and they will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. CT on Feb. 10. Priority access for tickets will be given to Cardinals season-ticket holders and American Express card members earlier that week. For full ticket information, visit cardinals.com/billyjoel.
Busch Stadium has served as a concert venue for several notable performers. Paul McCartney, the Eagles, U2 and Dave Matthews Band have all performed at the ballpark, which opened in 2006.
"We are thrilled to welcome the 'Piano Man' to Busch Stadium," said Vicki Bryant, Cardinals vice president of event services and merchandising. "As one of [the] most revered musicians in the entertainment industry, this promises to be an extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime concert that music lovers won't want to miss."
Billy Joel is the sixth best-selling recording artist of all time and the third best-selling solo artist. He has sold 150 million records, recorded 33 top 40 hits, and won six Grammy Awards.
