Cardinals disable outfielder Randal Grichuk; infielder Dean Anna recalled from Memphis (AAA)

ST. LOUIS, Mo., April 19, 2015 - The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to tonight's game that they have placed outfielder Randal Grichuk (lower back strain) on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 17, and have recalled left-handed hitting infielder Dean Anna from Memphis (AAA).

Anna, 28, was batting .393 (11-for-29) with two doubles and two RBI in seven games as the leadoff hitter for the Triple-A Redbirds.   He appeared in 12 games for the New York Yankees last season.
