Redbirds host Red Sox: BOS @ STL, 1:05 p.m., MLB.TV AND ESPN
Marco Gonzales draws an unexpected start for the Cardinals because scheduled starter Jaime Garcia requested to get his work done in a Minor League game instead. Gonzales has allowed three earned runs on 12 hits in 7 2/3 innings this spring. He'll have his work cut out for him against a Sox lineup filled with regulars.
Buchholz will be looking for improved command in his third Grapefruit League start. He's issued six walks and been charged with seven runs over 5 1/3 innings this spring.
deGrom goes for Mets: MIA @ NYM, 1:10 p.m., MLB.TV
Jacob deGrom will make his third Grapefruit League start for New York in a matchup of National League East clubs. In six innings this spring, deGrom has allowed one run.
Marcell Ozuna and Adeiny Hechavarria are among the regulars scheduled to make the trip for the Marlins. Jarred Cosart, making his case to be in the rotation, gets the start opposite deGrom.

Division rivals clash: CWS @ CLE, 4:05 p.m., MLB.TV and MLB Network
Indians right-hander Carlos Carrasco will start and is expected to pitch four innings against the White Sox in a matchup of American League Central foes. Carrasco has posted a 2.00 ERA in the Cactus League with 10 strikeouts and no walks. The Indians are expected to play most of their regulars with an off-day looming Tuesday.
Scott Carroll will make his first start of the spring for the White Sox, with Tyler Danish also scheduled to pitch. Carroll has pitched in relief in three Cactus League games and logged five innings.

Trout returns: LAA @ MIL, 4:05 p.m., MLB.TV
Angels superstar Mike Trout is expected to be back in the lineup after sitting out Sunday's game. Trout is hitting .355 in the Cactus League. Nick Tropeano will start for the Halos as he looks to earn a job in the rotation.
The Brewers have split-squad action and manager Craig Counsell plans to skipper both games. Ryan Braun is expected to be in the lineup and Matt Garza will take the mound in this one.

Counsell pulls double duty: MIL @ ARI, 9:40 p.m., MLB.TV
After managing a day game at home in Phoenix, Counsell will travel with a Brewers split-squad to Scottsdale to for a night game against the D-backs. Brewers pitching prospect Josh Hader will return from Minor League camp to start.
The D-backs will start lefty Patrick Corbin, with closer Brad Ziegler also scheduled to see action. This is the first meeting between these clubs in the Cactus League.
Hale debuts: COL @ TEX, 4:05 p.m., MLB.TV
Rockies reliever David Hale, recovering from a right hamstring injury, is scheduled to make 30-35 pitches in his Cactus League debut. Chad Bettis will start for the Rockies and is slated for 75-80 pitches.
The Rangers will send lefty Martin Perez to the mound for his second spring start. Perez went four innings and allowed one run Tuesday in his first start.
Shields goes for Padres: CIN @ SD, 10:10 p.m., MLB.TV
James Shields will make his third Cactus League start for the Padres against the Reds under the lights in Peoria, Ariz. Shields, lined up to start the second game of the regular season, allowed three home runs in 2 2/3 innings in his last outing.
Reds regulars Joey Votto and Jay Bruce are expected to make the trip. Lefty prospect Cody Reed, who has not allowed a run over his last seven innings, will get the start.
