Cards' holiday gift drive Wednesday

Fans encouraged to drop off toys at Ballpark Village

ST. LOUIS -- The Cardinals will hold their fourth annual gift drive Wednesday, during which fans can drop off new, unwrapped toys and gift cards to be distributed to local children this holiday season. A portion of the donations will be presented to children of families at the Scott Air Force Base during a holiday party with Fredbird on Saturday.

Donations can be dropped off at the Clark Street entrance to Ballpark Village from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. CT. The Cardinals request that donated toys be suitable for children 12 and under, while the gift cards target those ages 13 and older.

All fans who make a donation will receive a Cardinals stocking, a coupon for a free Papa John's pizza and a complimentary hot chocolate.

Over the past three years, the Cardinals have collected more than 3,000 toys and gift cards through this holiday drive. For more information on the initiative, visit cardinals.com/community.
