Carlos Ruiz Catches Foul Ball in On-Deck Circle
Nice hands.
Carlos Ruiz showed the quick hands that only a catcher has while waiting in the on-deck circle on Saturday night. Reid Brignac fouled a ball off behind him and Ruiz was there to snare it on a hop. The crowd at Citizens Bank Park certainly seemed to appreciate the effort.
Ruiz looked pretty smooth after making the play, but not as smooth as this kid.
