White Sox recall righty Fulmer from Triple-A

CHICAGO -- Prior to Monday's game vs. Tampa Bay, the Chicago White Sox recalled right-handed pitcher from Triple-A Charlotte.

Fulmer, 25, takes the roster spot of outfielder Ryan Cordell, who was optioned to Charlotte following Sunday’s game. Fulmer has appeared in one game with the Knights this season, allowing one run on two hits with four strikeouts over 2 1/3 innings in relief.

Fulmer originally was selected by the White Sox in the first round (eighth overall) of the 2015 Draft out of Vanderbilt University.
