Catcher Pinto claimed by Brewers

Josmil Pinto, who was claimed off waivers by the Padres in November, was claimed by the Brewers on Wednesday.

Pinto, 26, has not appeared in the big leagues since 2014. All 78 of his Major League games have been with the Twins.

In two seasons with Minnesota, Pinto is a .257 hitter with 11 home runs and 30 RBIs.
