Puello hits 3-run homer to end runfest vs. Sox

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- hit a three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning off of White Sox reliever Zack Burdi and the Rangers held on for a 10-8 victory at Camelback Ranch on Sunday.
The Rangers led 5-0 going into the bottom of the sixth when the White Sox put together an eight-run rally. and  had a pair of two-run singles in the outburst. Garcia had three hits as he tries to land a spot with the White Sox as a utility infielder. Center fielder had two hits in his bid for a job as a reserve outfielder.
The Rangers offense was sparked by , who continues to show why he is earning serious consideration for a spot at the top of the lineup. He was 2-for-3 with three runs scored and his fifth stolen base of the spring. and Will Middlebrooks both hit home runs in addition to Puello's go-ahead blast.
Chirinos to see increased role in WBC '17
White Sox starter , one of the big pieces acquired from the Red Sox in the offseason Chris Sale trade, made his second start in the Cactus League and allowed a run on three hits in three innings. He struck out four.
"I think it's comfort really," said Kopech of his solid start. "There are still things I didn't execute on and I have to adjust to that for my next outing. I felt more comfortable. I think that really was what it was."
Tilson feels discomfort in foot, will need checkup
Rangers starter pitched four scoreless innings, allowing two hits and a walk while striking out three. He continues to emerge as a candidate for the Rangers rotation.
"Just the normal Spring Training build-up, and trying to build on my previous outings," Hauschild said. "Throw strikes, get ground balls and let my defense make plays."
Rangers up next: will be back in the lineup for the Rangers when they play the Giants at 8:05 p.m. CT on Monday in Surprise. Choo will be at designated hitter for the fourth time this spring. He has started five games in right field.
