Cespedes set for return to lineup in finale

HOUSTON -- The A's are finally prepared to welcome back their Home Run Derby champion to the starting lineup on Wednesday.

Yoenis Cespedes, previously sidelined because of soreness in his left wrist, came off the bench in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Astros. The outfielder is expected to start Wednesday's series finale, manager Bob Melvin said after the game.

Cespedes, who took batting practice for the first time in four days on Tuesday, went 1-for-2 with a double in the game.

"He feels good," Melvin said. "So he'll play tomorrow."
