CHI Franciscan Health has entered into a multi-year agreement as the Seattle Mariners official "Partner in Health." The three-year affiliation will build upon the Mariners legacy as a community leader in the Pacific Northwest to promote broadly the Tacoma-based nonprofit health system's "NW Healthy" message of health and wellness.

"Consumers are taking a more active role in their own health care decisions. This partnership will help CHI Franciscan reach Mariners fans across the Pacific Northwest promoting an active, healthy lifestyle," said Kevin Mather, Seattle Mariners President & COO.

"The Mariners know how important the health of their players, staff and community is to their success, and we are excited to help them fulfill their commitment with our full spectrum of premier health care services and resources," said Ketul J, Patel, CEO, CHI Franciscan Health. "This partnership will advance our services as a destination health care system for the Pacific Northwest."

NW Healthy
Through the partnership with the Mariners, CHI Franciscan will be delivering NW Healthy tips at Safeco field and on Mariners TV and Radio broadcasts featuring Mariners Hall of Famer Dan Wilson.

Wilson will deliver NW Healthy messages on ROOT SPORTS, which reaches 3.2 million households across five Northwest states, and on the Mariners flagship radio station, 710 ESPN Seattle, and the Mariners Radio Network. Messages will also appear during games on MarinersVision at Safeco Field.

Healthy Scorecard
The official game scorecard, which is available at Safeco Field at all Mariners home games, will feature the CHI Franciscan "Healthy Scorecard," a list of tips such as exercising and eating right that will help people get and stay healthy. Fans can fill out the checklist and post a picture on Instagram of their completed scorecard or of themselves engaged in a "Healthy Scorecard" activity. Qualifying submissions will be chosen at random to receive prizes such as tickets to Mariners games, jerseys, autographed items and more.
