The Chicago White Sox announced the schedule for activities and appearances at SoxFest 2016 - sponsored by Miller Lite, Comcast SportsNet, Beggars Pizza and WGN-TV. The three-day annual fan gathering at the Hilton Chicago on January 29-31 features special autograph, photo and question-and-answer sessions with current White Sox players, former greats, Sox minor leaguers, broadcasters and front office staff.
In its second year at the Hilton Chicago, SoxFest features the following popular fan highlights:
Fans who purchase the SoxFest Premium Upgrade Package will have exclusive access to unique opportunities, including: a private photograph session with Chris Sale and his custom-designed ring marking the franchise record of 274 strikeouts in a season, a private seminar with Hall-of-Famer Frank Thomas, and a private autograph session with White Sox slugger Jose Abreu. The package also includes three speed passes that fans can use for premium autograph sessions without waiting in line for SoxFest scheduled guests like Bo Jackson, Chris Sale, Jose Abreu, and several others. This package is only available for fans who have a SoxFest hotel package and weekend pass(es). A limited number of packages are still available, and the last day to purchase a SoxFest hotel package is Friday, January 22.
This April also marks the 25th anniversary of White Sox baseball at U.S. Cellular Field. SoxFest will host a variety of activities all weekend long with team members who have made the last 25 years memorable.
