Chicken Takes the Field at Progressive

It was a surprisingly slow news day in Cleveland on Wednesday, considering both the Indians and the Baltimore Orioles are right in the thick of the A.L. Wild Card race.

That is, until a domesticated fowl surfaced on the playing field during Indians batting practice.

Orioles beat writer Brittany Ghiroli had the scoop.

Spotted at Indians BP: some kind of rooster, or possibly a hen. No idea why but its out in the OF with a few guys.
