Taylor OK after slipping on first base

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers center fielder Chris Taylor exited in the bottom of the first inning of Wednesday night's 10-0 win over the Padres with a left knee contusion sustained slipping on the first-base bag while legging out ground ball to shortstop.
Taylor was able to reach first after 's throw was too high for Padres first baseman , but Taylor came up sore. He remained in the game after being attended to by team trainers, but he was replaced by on second base after drew a walk.
Manager Dave Roberts said after the game that Taylor was fine and was taken out of the game as precaution.
Taylor said the knee is a little sore, but with Thursday's team off-day, the Dodgers plan to have him back in the lineup on Friday.
"I think the biggest thing is it just scared me more than anything," Taylor said. "I slipped off the bag and kind of jammed it a little bit. I fully expect to be in there Friday."
