Reds fans got a look at some of the club's key returns from the Johnny Cueto and Todd Frazier blockbusters Monday in an 8-5 win over the Angels.
Left-hander Cody Reed, acquired from Kansas City in the Cueto trade last July, started and allowed just two hits in three scoreless innings. The Reds' No. 3 prospect (No. 66 overall) fanned one and induced ground-ball outs from six of the 11 hitters he faced in the outing.
No. 5 prospectJose Peraza (No. 71 overall), who came over from the Dodgers in the three-team deal for Todd Frazier, played shortstop and paced the offense out of the leadoff spot, finishing 2-for-4 with a double and two stolen bases. No. 16 prospectScott Schebler, acquired from the Dodgers in the same trade, continued his solid start this Spring by hitting a double as part of a 2-for-4 performance. Three of his first four hits have been for extra bases.

• Astros No. 10 prospectMichael Feliz had a strong showing out of the bullpen in a win over the Yankees, striking out a pair and inducing four groundouts in three scoreless innings. Corner infielder Tyler White (No. 13) was the only Houston player to record multiple hits in the contest, finishing 2-for-3 with a double.

• Catcher Pedro Severino, the Nationals' No. 10-ranked prospect, went 2-for-2 with a double and two runs scored in a win over the Marlins.
• Steven Matz, MLBPipeline's No. 15 overall prospect, pitched well against the Cardinals in his Spring debut, allowing one run on one hit in three innings. The 24-year-old left-hander issued two walks, struck out three and induced five ground-ball outs (12 batters faced) in the outing.

• Pirates No. 10 prospectAlen Hanson is hitting .545 through his first 11 at-bats in Spring Training after his 2-for-3 showing in a loss to the Phillies.
• Braves No. 4 prospect Aaron Blair bounced back from his rough Spring debut last week (2 IP, 5 H, 4 ER) to allow one hit in two innings against Toronto, striking out three.

• Shortstop Corey Seager, MLBPipeline's No. 1 overall prospect, picked up his first hits of the Spring (2-for-3), including a double, which was the only hit allowed by Indians starter Danny Salazar in three innings. The Tribe's offense was led by No. 9 prospectTyler Naquin, who went 3-for-4 with two runs scored, giving him a .467 average through his first 15 at-bats.
• Royals No. 2 prospectKyle Zimmer (No. 65 overall) is looking like his old self this Spring after an injury-plagued 2015 campaign. On Monday against Oakland, the 2012 first-rounder allowed one run on four hits in three innings, striking out a pair. Between his two outings, Zimmer has scattered six hits over five innings and has yet to issue a walk.
• D-backs No. 3 prospectBrandon Drury went 2-for-4 with a two-out, two-run home run against the Mariners.
