Colorado Rockies and ROOT SPORTS Announce 2015 Telecast Schedule

The Colorado Rockies and ROOT SPORTS™ announced today the network's 2015 Colorado Rockies telecast schedule. The network will air 150 Rockies regular season games and six Spring Training games.

ROOT SPORTS' regular season coverage begins with the season opener on Monday, April 6, when the Rockies travel to Milwaukee to face the Brewers at 12:10 p.m. MT. A special one-hour pregame show will begin at 11 a.m. MT. The team will open at Coors Field on Friday, April 10; with the pregame show starting at 1 p.m. MT. Spring training coverage begins on March 20 at 2:10 p.m., when the Rockies take on the Athletics at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick.

"We're excited to team up with our longtime partner ROOT SPORTS and to work closely with their on-air personalities and behind-the-scenes professionals," said Rockies Chief Operating Officer Greg Feasel. "The combination of their extensive game coverage, weekly shows and features gives our fans across the Rocky Mountain Region the best opportunity to follow the action and to get to know the players, coaches and the Club."

"We look forward to another great season of Colorado Rockies Baseball on ROOT SPORTS," said ROOT SPORTS General Manager David Woodman. "Through our partnership with the team we are able to provide fans in the Rocky Mountain region unmatched insight into their Colorado Rockies on and off the field."

Enhancing broadcasts from Coors Field this season will be the addition of a 4K zoom function to each 'SuperMo' super slow motion camera. In 2014, ROOT SPORTS was one of the first sports networks to employ the Grass Valley 6x Super Slow Motion system, and the new zoom feature will provide an ultra- clear look of key plays. Further, this winter the network relocated the centerfield camera position to a dead-center location, allowing for an improved view of pitch movement and the strike zone.

"Rockies Real Time", "Rockies Weekly" and "Double Play" will all return to the network this season.

"Rockies Real Time", which gives fans an inside look at players in their everyday lives, will air on Friday nights following the "Toyota Postgame Show" throughout the season. The first episode premieres on Friday, April 10 and will highlight the new faces within the organization from the front office to the field.

"Rockies Weekly" will air Sundays after the "Toyota Postgame Show", beginning on Sunday, March 29. The magazine show recaps the best of the week and provides an exclusive interview with the coaching staff.

"Double Play" also returns, airing immediately prior to each pregame show and providing all the highlights from the previous game in just 30 minutes.
