The Colorado Rockies announced today that they will host a January Caravan with visits throughout the state and region in lieu of their annual Rockies Fest. Improvements to the Club Level of Coors Field this offseason prohibit the club from hosting Rockies Fest next January.
The itinerary for the 2017 Rockies Caravan is being planned now for the week of Jan. 23, to include stops throughout Colorado and surrounding states, and travel by plane and RV. Along with the new manager of the club, several current Rockies players and baseball personnel will be on board.
When the itinerary and participating players are finalized in the coming weeks, it will be posted and updated at Rockies.com/caravan.
