Cottage in the City Weekend presented by Ontario - Yours to Discover
The TORONTO BLUE JAYS host the Baltimore Orioles for a three game series and present the first ever COTTAGE IN THE CITY WEEKEND presented by Ontario Tourism - Yours to Discover. Starting on Friday June 21, the three day cottage themed weekend will feature a pre-game outdoor licensed area with food service, live entertainment, games, prizes and giveaways. The in-stadium activities will include in-game prizes and interactive games in the 200 level outfield. This is an all ages event.
Festivities begin at 4:30pm on Friday, June 21st, outside gates 10/11 with Cottage Fan Friday, featuring a large sand pit and cedar deck, Muskoka chairs, and a live band performing on the TD Music Stage. One lucky fan will win the opportunity to throw out the first pitch before Friday's game.
Saturday is a special cottage themed Jr. Jays Saturday presented by Boston Pizza, starting at 11:00am. This event will feature interactive activities, photo booth, midway games, and lots of prizes and giveaways. Live entertainment includes Little Ballplayers Theatre and the Bird Nerd - Birds of Prey show. Games include duck ponds, frogger, table top horseshoes, sand castle building and more. As on every Saturday home game, kids priced tickets are available for sale and kids can run the bases after the game.
Sunday is Blue Jays Beach Towel Giveaway day. Cottage in the City festivities begin at 11:00am with the outdoor festival featuring live music, games, and prizes. The first 20,000 fans to enter will receive a Blue Jays Beach Towel.
