Infielders Guerrero, Arruebarrena back on radar

PHOENIX -- Cuban middle infielders Alex Guerrero and Erisbel Arruebarrena are back on the radar.

Guerrero, who suffered a strained oblique muscle during the Freeway Series against the Angels, was activated Saturday by Triple-A Albuquerque, where he will continue to learn second base, playing alongside journeymen infielders Miguel Rojas and Carlos Triunfel.

The Dodgers released veteran Brendan Harris to make room for Guerrero.

Arruebarrena is still at extended spring training in Arizona but will likely be assigned to Double-A Chattanooga within the week to play shortstop alongside prospect Darnell Sweeney.

The Dodgers spent $53 million to sign the pair of Cuban middle infielders.
