Bradley goes 'back to the basics'
Struggling righty spends extra time with pitching coach Mike Harkey
MILWAUKEE -- The five days between starts can seem like an eternity to a pitcher after a bad outing, but D-backs right-hander Archie Bradley has tried to put them to good use.
Bradley, who will start Monday against the Braves, has struggled in his three starts since coming off the disabled list, and he spent extra time with pitching coach Mike Harkey since getting roughed up in St. Louis on Wednesday.
"We've kind of gone back to the basics," Bradley said. "We've looked at what my issues have been, what my problems have been. Comparing some video to spring training and my first couple starts up here to my starts after coming off the DL.
"It hasn't been a drastic overhaul or change, but it's minor things that needed to be adjusted. I'm not going to say they have been adjusted, but I feel a lot better. We've slowed some things down, tried to simplify things and made things easier."
