D-backs Announce 2015 Promotional Schedule

The Arizona Diamondbacks announced the 2015 promotional schedule, highlighted by the retirement of Randy Johnson's No. 51 and bobblehead giveaway in 2015. D-backs mini-plans will go on sale Jan. 26 allowing fans to secure their seats for the historic festivities and include options for a 10-Game Mini-Plan and Prime Seat 6-Pack.

Johnson will be inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame this year and the D-backs will honor him with a special Hall of Fame bobblehead giveaway on July 25, which coincides with Hall of Fame weekend in Cooperstown. In addition, the D-backs will retire Johnson's uniform No. 51 during a special ceremony on Aug. 8. Johnson recently rejoined the D-backs' organization and will serve as Special Assistant to the President & CEO Derrick Hall.

The D-backs will give away five bobbleheads in 2015, including D-backs Hello Kitty (April 11), Josh Collmenter (May 9), Tony La Russa (June 6), A.J. Pollock Star Wars (July 18) and Randy Johnson Hall of Fame (July 25). Additional new and exciting giveaway items include a Paul Goldschmidt Cap (April 25), D-backs Mother's Day Ladies' Soft-style T-shirt (May 10), D-backs Fedora (May 24), D-backs Fun Socks (July 19), D-backs Insulated Lunch Bag (July 26) and D-backs Beer Stein (Sept. 12). 

The D-backs will be home for the holidays and will celebrate with fans on Mother's Day (May 10), Father's Day (June 21), Fourth of July and Labor Day (Sept. 7), and will honor our heroes on Sept. 11. 

Fans can expect several specialized theme nights throughout the season, including Country Night (April 25), Superheroes Night (May 22), Outdoor Recreation Night (May 23), Native American Recognition Day (June 20), Star Wars Night (July 18), Alumni Day (Aug. 9), and Hispanic Heritage Day (Oct. 3). Also returning in 2015, the club will host post-game fireworks shows, presented by Gila River Casinos, following 12 Friday night home games and one special fireworks night on Fourth of July.
