D-backs extend player development contract with Triple-A Reno

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have extended their player development contract with Triple-A Reno (@Aces) of the Pacific Coast League for 2 years through the 2018 season, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) have extended their player development contract with Triple-A Reno (@Aces) of the Pacific Coast League for 2 years through the 2018 season, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
"The Arizona Diamondbacks are excited to extend our relationship with the Reno Aces," said D-backs President & CEO Derrick Hall. "I truly value the relationship between our two organizations, and could not be more thankful for the support the Aces, and the city of Reno, have shown our players and staff since 2009. We look forward to working with the Reno ownership group and the rest of the Aces' family for many years to come."
A D-backs affiliate since 2009, the Aces have posted a 532-508 (.512) regular season record in that span. The 8-year partnership has been highlighted by a Triple-A Championship in 2012, as well as 2 PCL Pacific Conference Championships (2012, '14), 3 division titles (2011-12, '14) and 2 PCL Most Valuable Players (OF Adam Eaton, 2012; INF Chris Owings, 2013).
Of the players on the D-backs active roster, 11 went through Reno during their Minor League careers, including: Nick Ahmed, Jake Barrett, Enrique Burgos, Andrew Chafin, Patrick Corbin, Randall Delgado, Brandon Drury, Jake Lamb, Chris Owings, Robbie Ray and Yasmany Tomás.
