The D-backs will have 23 non-roster players in Major League camp when the club reports to Spring Training next month, headlined by right-hander and No. 2 prospect Braden Shipley.
Joaquin Arias, who spent the past four seasons and won two World Series with the Giants, is among the list of invited position players. There are three infielders in addition to Arias, including Kyle Jensen, Jack Reinheimer and Carlos Rivero.
Also coming to big league camp on Minor League deals are catchers Brett Hayes and Mark Thomas, and outfielders Zach Borenstein, Jason Bourgeois, Todd Glaesmann and Evan Marzilli.
Left-handed reliever Wesley Wright is among the 13 pitchers the D-backs have invited. Adam Loewen, Scott Rice and Daniel Gibson round out the lefty pitchers, while the nine right-handers include Shipley, Matt Buschmann, Jose Cisnero, Miller Diaz, Kyle Drabek, Kaleb Fleck, Yoan Lopez, Adam Miller and Tim Stauffer.
Pitchers and catchers report to camp Feb. 17 at Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. Position players report Feb. 22 and the first full-squad workout is Feb. 23.
