D-backs make 4 rosters moves

PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) placed right-handed pitcher Chase Anderson on the 15-day disabled list with right triceps inflammation and recalled right-handed pitcher Matt Stites and outfielder Danny Dorn from Triple-A Reno. In addition, the D-backs optioned right-handed pitcher Enrique Burgos to Reno following last night's game. D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart made the announcements.

Anderson, 27, is 4-4 with a 4.37 ERA (51 ER in 105.0 IP) in 18 starts this season with the D-backs.

Stites, 25, has posted a 2.87 ERA (5 ER in 15.2 IP) with 3 saves in 15 relief appearances with Single-A Visalia and Reno in 2015. He began the season on the disabled list with right elbow inflammation, and has pitched in 2 games with the Arizona this season (0 ER in 1.1 IP).

Dorn, 30, was hitting .434 (76-for-175) with 15 doubles, 7 home runs, 32 RBI and a 1.150 OPS in 48 games with Triple-A Reno this season. He has appeared in 22 games with the D-backs in his first Major League season, going 5-for-29 (.172) with 1 double and 3 RBI.

Burgos, 24, was 1-2 with 2 saves and a 5.14 ERA (12 ER in 21.0 IP) and 32 strikeouts in 22 games with Arizona.
