The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled INF/OF Brandon Drury from Triple-A Reno and placed OFSócrates Brito on the 15-day disabled list (fractured right toe), as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
Drury, 23, is hitting .275 (56-for-204) with 11 doubles, 1 triple, 8 homers and 18 RBI in 56 games for the D-backs this season. He ranks among the NL rookie leaders in several categories, including: at-bats (4th), hits (4th), doubles (4th), home runs (T-5th) and RBI (7th). Drury was optioned to Reno on Sunday, where he played 3 games for the Aces.
Brito, 23, is hitting .211 (8-for-38) with 2 homers and 4 RBI in 13 games with Arizona this season. He made the Opening Day roster for the first time in his career.
