PHOENIX - The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled C Óscar Hernández (@OscarHernDbacks) from Double-A Mobile, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart.
Hernández, 23, combined to hit .238 (61-for-256) with 16 doubles, 10 homers and 33 RBI in 76 games between Single-A Visalia and Mobile in 2016. He also appeared in 2 games with the D-backs this season, hitting his first Major League home run on Aug. 10 @ Mets.
Hernández was selected by the D-backs in 2014 Rule 5 Major League Draft from the Tampa Bay Rays.
