D-backs recall Shelby Miller from Triple-A Reno

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled RHP Shelby Miller from Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart. Last night after the game, RHP Vicente Campos was optioned to Reno.

The Arizona Diamondbacks (@Dbacks) recalled RHP Shelby Miller from Triple-A Reno, as announced by D-backs Sr. Vice President & General Manager Dave Stewart. Last night after the game, RHP Vicente Campos was optioned to Reno.
 
Miller, 25, made 10 starts at Reno and went 5-1 with a 3.91 ERA (24 R-22 ER in 50.2 IP), .281 opponents average (55-for-196), 10 walks and 55 strikeouts. In his last 5 starts for the Aces, he was 3-1 with a 3.27 ERA (13 R-12 ER in 33.0 IP), 4 walks and 35 strikeouts. In his most recent start was on August 25 vs. Tacoma, he worked 4.2 innings and allowed 4 runs but did not get the decision in an 11-5 win.
 
Miller, in 14 starts for the D-backs, is 2-9 with a 7.14 ERA (55 ER in 69.1 IP). He was on the 15-day disabled list from May 27-June 20 with a sprained right index finger.
